Fitbit keeps vibrating after answering a call

Since I updated to the latest ios my fitbit continues to vibrate and notify me of an incoming call even after I have answered the call.

Is there a fix in place?

After months of this issue driving me insane I reached this thread & am disappointed to see Fitbit appear to have done absolutely nothing about the issue!! I can’t put up with my watch vibrating every time I make or receive a call, as it needs a new strap I think I am going to cut my losses, bin the Fitbit & put the money towards another brand, wouldn’t line their pockets for an issue they can’t be bothered to resolve.  BIG FAIL FITBIT

My family bought me an Apple Watch so that the eternal vibrations would go away.

Sent from my iPhone. Typos are Apple's fault.

I gave up after multiple calls to customer service and being given a runaround about how long it would take to resolve. One rep actually told me I should come on here and rally everyone together to call and complain and that would make them fix it faster. Could you imagine? I moved onto an Apple Watch like so many pissed off blaze users. Thanks for nothing Fitbit!

Turn off call alerts until it’s fixed. That’s what I’m doing. I’d get an iWatch if I could afford it but can’t at quadruple the price. But Fitbit bit gives great insites into sleep patterns. iWatch doesn’t since you have to charge it daily. I agree it’s very annoying as I use my watch to screen phone calls for work. Good luck. Thanks for the post. Made me laugh as I was thinking the same thing till I realised the above.

Following, mine vibrates after a call is answered and when making an outgoing call. Constantly has to be recharged. I love Fitbit, but this is too much. Please fix.

Mine going in the bin unless they sort

That didn't work.

Dear all in the Fitbit community. I have given up on Fitbit and become a Garmin user. Best of luck with Fitbit’s shoddy customer service and their lack of respect and appreciation for their customers.

There doesn't appear to have been any updates from Fitbit since this message yet the issue still persists and FitBit are losing customers.  Are you ever going to fix this issue??

It's very frustrating isn't it? We become loyal customers for a number of years and tell everyone we meet how great the Fitbit is and then when a minor programming error occurs, they disappear never to be heard from again. Pity as I believe they still produce the best fitness watch in the industry. Too bad the same can't be said about customer service. In the meanwhile, I have turned off notifications.

Me too and it's super frustrating. Part of my enjoyment of the watch was
getting texts while working out and away from my phone.

I haven't turned off my notifications because I've just had my phone on silent for years...I don't think I can cope with having a ringing phone and remembering to put it on silent when I'm in meetings after all this time 😂

I do love everything else about my fitbit and really don't want to change, but they really need to sort this out

Oh it's just the phone call vibrations I'm having an issue with; all the other notifications seem to be working.  Are yours not??

My texts don't come through anymore.

Whaaaat?  That would be so annoying!!  All my app and texts notifications are fine.  That's so weird that it's doing different things for different people 😲

I have just been fiddling round and kind of found a solution!

When it's vibrating when you've answered or are making a call, press the button on the left and it stops the vibrations!

Called customer service again and got the same run around of the technical team is still working on it. It is getting rather annoying having my wrist vibrate constantly while on a phone call. I suspect I share the same feeling of wanting to chuck my fitbit into a blazing inferno and going off to a competitors product. This is infuriating.

Lets face it...Fitbit support sucks. I spent $260 on this hunk of junk just over 18 months ago.  Now it wont even hold a charge for longer than 2 hours.

I am buying an iWatch today.

That doesn’t sound right; mines over 3 years old and it charge it every 3 days but it still have life in it even before I charge it. I know if you have it in all day sync it zaps it more (I have mine in manual sync) but still should last longer than that even if you do.
