After updating my iphone yesterday, my fitbit has not worked since. The battery is draining and I can quickly see the home screen on the versa. Then it fades out. I can't see any data or other options on my watch at all. It just vibrates. HELP! I've done the "fix" they recommended for not getting notifications, but my watch is almost completely shut down. I've reinstalled and restarted the watch too. Nothing seems to work.

Hello @SunsetRunner
I see your having trouble getting the Fitbit App to work with your iPhone and your Versa after the recent iOS update. Let’s check to see if your phone is indeed compatible with the Fitbit App (compatible devices were changed during the recent update. You can check that here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315/?q=Compatible&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1
Please let me know if your iPhone is indeed compatible.

Hello again @SunsetRunner
Im happy to see your device is compatible.
Have you considered reinstalling the Fitbit App?
I think the best course of action now would be to just reinstall the Fitbit App. (you will not lose your data doing this) Just uninstall the app, then completely shut down your device and wait about 1 minute then turn your device back on. Once it fully loads head to the App Store and reinstall the Fitbit app and simply login to the Fitbit app as you normally do by inputting your email address and password.
Please let me know if this solves your issue.

I tried this and my screen is still black. I can quickly see my screen and then it fades away. I can't swipe left, right, up or down.I even tried changing my clock face. This did not help either.

Oh my @SunsetRunner
I really think you need to call Fitbit Customer Service. You can find ways to contact them here: https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs&co=GB. I really hope you get things back up and running soon. Good luck to you

I called fitbit. They will not replace my watch because it has been over a year since I purchased it. I bought it 1 year and 5 months ago. I was offered a 25% off of a new watch. I’m very disappointed with the customer service. My watch still does nothing even after going through all of the trouble shooting steps and the fitbit software update. It’s disappointing that my watch broke due to an apple update. I’ve always recommended fitbit to my friends and family, but I will no longer support this company.

Mine too! I did the latest update and my watch has been dead ever since. Black screen and it doesn't work at all unless it put it in its charger and plug it into my computer, then I can get the screen to light up. otherwise it's just dead now. I'm calling customer support this morning but looks like they won't do much...

Hello again @KimW1982
Have you tried restarting your Versa? You can see how that’s done here: (you will not lose data doing so) https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/?q=Restart&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1

Mine is just dead, the update killed it. Went through customer support and all the offer is a %25 discount on a cheaper version of the watch I have. I'm not buying another one, I don't want to deal with this ever time Apple has an IOS update, its ridiculous.

Same exact response I got - went out and got an Apple Watch instead. I don’t want to deal with this again. It’s sad because I did love my Versa!
