Fitbit won't sync with iOS app since the update.

I'm a new Fitbit user and both tracker and app were working fine until I updated the app and tracker. Tracker still works fine but the app won't recognise the tracker. Frustrating when I want to compare my progress. Can I restart the tracker and re-sync it as a new device?? I've deleted and downloaded the app but it still won't recognise the tracker?!

Welcome to the Fitbit Forums @JimFits! Since you had recently updated the Fitbit app and your tracker's firmware, I recommend checking out these syncing troubleshoots. Make sure that there isn't another bluetooth device that may be creating interference during the process. Setting  up your tracker as a new device may also help you to bring it back to sync as usual.

It haven't been able to sync my tracker to my iPhone all week I guess since the new update. I've done all the sync troubleshooting. This is very frustrating. And yep missing tiles on the dashboard too like amount of steps. I what can I do now?

I did all the trouble shooting steps. It took several days but it finally worked. I had to do all of them, restart, forget this device, delete app, turn off Bluetooth, go on my laptop and use the dongle - all of it....
