I have followed the instructions on restarting my Flex 2 device, add/remove from my iPhone and txt message notifications are still not working. Phone calls notifications works perfectly fine, just not text messages.

Hello @yoshi729
Here’s what I Know about it:

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Do Not Disturb.
  3. Then toggle the switch next to Do Not Disturb to turn the feature OFF
  4. Tap the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad > Bluetooth.
  5. Tap the "i" icon next to the name of your Fitbit device.
  6. Turn on Share System Notifications. If you don't see the System Notifications option:
    1. Restart your Fitbit device. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
    2. Tap Allow when you receive a message on your iPhone or iPad asking if you want your Fitbit device to show notifications.
    3. Tap the "i" icon next to the name of your Fitbit device
    4. Turn on the Share System Notifications.
  7. Tap Settings in the top-left to return to the Settings page > Notifications.
  8. For Phone and Calendar, make sure Allow Notifications and Notification Center are on.
  9. For Messages, make sure Allow Notifications is on, Lock ScreenNotification Center, and Banners are on.
  10. For Messages, make sure Show Previews is set to Always or When Unlocked.

*** I would also check to make sure your iOS is updated. Currently the iOS 13.1.2 is available

Please let me know if this helps in any way.

Well that seems to work, I just do not like having my Previews for Messages
being set to either Always or When Unlocked. For now I set it to When
Unlocked, the notifications works on the Fitbit but now I can see the
previews on my phone which I do not like at all.

This is outstanding @yoshi729

I understand not liking the preview portion but that issue still is pending a fix. Could you please mark my instructions as an “Accepted Solution”.... it helps other individuals searching this site trying to find answers to similar issues. I would appreciate it. Thank you 😃

Same!! I absolutely hate having message previews on my phone. I don’t want everyone and their brother able to read my messages as they come in. This was not this way before and I’m going to just have to turn off notifications all together for texts if this is not corrected.
