Flex 2 syncing

I upgraded my phone to an iPhone 8 right around the time the Fitbit update came through and then could not get into my account. Finally got  that resolved Friday and now it will not sync and have lost my “steps” and have gained “calories” . It is a Flex 2. I have tried everything as of now with no luck. Read lots of suggestions to try but to no avail. Help!!!

@KelleyL Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear that your Flex 2 isn't syncing and thank you for trying the suggestions in the community. Try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device.

I tried what you suggested and nothing. Now my phone won’t even recognize the Flex2.
