Flex and iOS not syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My flex suddenly just stops syncing with my iPhone. Has happened several times. Thought it was a low flex battery. Charging flex to full doesn’t help. Turning Bluetooth on and off doesn’t help. Forgetting the flex and reinstalling doesn’t help. Reinstalling the fitbit app doesn’t help.  Only time seems to help.  Does the flex just  eventually wear out and have to be replaced?

Hi @okrobin. Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for the troubleshooting steps tried to get your Flex syncing. I understand how you're feeling about this situation and let's work on this together! Before anything else, may I know your phone's model and OS version? Also, are you seeing an error message when trying to sync?

Even though you've tried some steps on your own, please give one more try to the following in the given order:

  1. Remove your Flex and any other device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections next to you.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Restart your Flex.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  6. Choose your Flex from the list and follow the onscreen instructions.

Let me know how it goes.
