My friends account average steps shows different on her app compared to my app. Its shows she does 6000 plus step average on a day in her app and shows 48k steps average on my app.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Rathna1203.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about your friend's average step count showing differently on your friend's app compared to your app. Thank you for providing the additional details, I am here to help. I recommend doing the following:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. For instructions, see this help article.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and log back in to your account.

When you tap the Community tab > Friends, you will see your friends listed in order, based on their 7-day step total. When you tap a friend, you will see your friend's daily step average. I would like to mentioned that if your friend syncs after you checked her step average, it could be the reason you see a different number on your app. For more information, see How do I keep up with my Fitbit friends?

Keep me posted on the outcome. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
