Go back to the old App!

When is Fitbit going to fix all the problems with the new version of the App? I won't call it an upgrade because it is awful.  I have to constantly force syncing on the new app, and it doesn't even capture my sleep and exercise data 30 percent of the time.  The previous version worked much better - please bring it back!

Hello again @Stacieang

I’m happy to hear your syncing issues have improved! 😃 Hopefully your currently not having sleep monitoring issues. As far as your missing sleep data it may be that the days in question something must have been wrong during that time. (Example syncing issues, wasn’t worn correctly, Heart Rate disabled by accident etc) This help article may help you make sure that this incident doesn’t happen again: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1314/?q=Sleep&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1

😃 I hope this resolves your issue. Please let me know

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Stacieang

I’m sorry you’re experiencing issues with the new Fitbit App. There is no plan to revert back to the older App version. I do understand your frustration and this is certainly not the way the app should function. Please look here to see if your iOS device is indeed compatible with the Fitbit App here:https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315 (if your iOS device is not compatible you can still try these troubleshooting steps but you still may experience issues)

Let’s first try restarting your Fitbit Tracker. Look here to find how to properly restart: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186

If restarting your Fitbit Tracker doesn’t fix your issue let’s try restarting the Fitbit App as well as your iOS device.

Here’s how:

1. Log out of the Fitbit app and force shut the app by swiping up

2. uninstall the Fitbit App from your device

3. now completely shut down your device and wait about 1 min then restart your device

4. once your device has reloaded reinstall the Fitbit app by downloading it from the App Store

5. once it’s installed, log into your device as you normally would with username and password

6. don’t touch anything in the app...just wait until you get a prompt from your Bluetooth.

7. When prompted by your Bluetooth tap yes

8. sync

If your still experiencing issues try deleting and reinstalling the Fitbit App. When your done reinstalling just sign in as you normally would with your email address and password.

😃 Please let me know if this helps resolve the problem. Keep me posted.

The syncing process is a little faster after restarting the fitbit, but I
still don't have several days of sleep data that the app just didn't
recognize.
Thanks for the advice!
