Graphs show "no measurements" instead of data

My relatively new Versa 2 is not tracking anything beyond high level data. Every category just says “no measurements” once you click on the daily totals of each category. Where you should see peaks and valleys is just a statement called “no measurements.” Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Hi. same problem.
How can existing functions just disappear?

Isn’t there any testing of app updates before they are released?

Not very professional!!

Best Answer

I thank you for this

I updated this way to the 3.71 from 3.70.1 and it looking good

I will stop the automatic app update in the App Store that way I will have better control as to when it is a good time to update this software it seems to me that in the last few updates it has managed to break some things and taking a long of time fix

this way I will wait until the bugs are fixed and then update. Anyway I thank you!!!

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am deeply unhappy about this problem.  I am equally frustrated at the limited options for contacting support - in particular no email address, hence this post.

I hope it - and others - will get pushed up the chain for a more prompt resolution. The response so far is just not good enough.

It has been several weeks (months?) since the “no measurements” flaw has been reported by users and there is still no sign of a release date for a software patch.

Given the likely huge scale of the problem, it would be helpful if Fitbit would make a greater effort to resolve this.

It would also help if it was easier to report this as an issue - then your organisation would know the full extent of the problem. Perhaps leading to a greater allocation of resources to a solution.

Using a “me too” button for reporting problems is a simple way of more accurately assessing the scale.  However I couldn’t even find a way to report a problem, until I used a Google search.

It should be simple to report this from the app or the community pages.

There is nothing on this problem in the help pages either, when I searched “troubleshooting” and “no measurements data”

Only having social media and “live” chat as contact options is not good enough for this gen x member.

Perhaps it’s time to switch smart watch brands?

Regards

Josh

when there is someone available, chat is an option. Phone or Twitter works well, too.

Thank you for your helpful and well meaning reply. I don’t use any social media, just email and phone, so I’ll give the numbers a try.

Thanks

Not only the daily steps but also others show “no measurements” for at least a month for my Sense. It seems happened after the firmware update. I believe Fitbit needs to fix it ASAP.

@Josho5   Fitbit started rolling out version 3.71 for iOS.  It fixes this bug.  Please go to the App Store and see if you can get the update.  I have my apps set to update automatically.  But I checked the App Store and it was available.

I believe the problem has been corrected in update 3.71. I know that the screens no longer read that there is no data. I am a blind user and have never been able to see the screens but I’ve noticed that the screens now read differently. Fitbit rolls out updates overtime and you may not get a message that the update is currently or sometime so check the App Store and I hope that the fix is there.

Hi Podunk,

Thanks for your informative reply.

I have the latest software version, but still get “no measurements” for daily detail on calories, steps, miles and minutes of activity.

This is the same problem that has been reported by others since August and by people other than me this week.

Perhaps it is an issue more connected with the device - Inspire HR - but help is unhelpful for diagnosis.

All the best

You can find the current version by opening the Fitbit app clicking on profile upper left-hand corner scrolling down to help and support, and you will find the current version number at the top of the screen. The version I downloaded earlier this week is 3.71. The problem appear to occur with version 3.69 was not corrected in her.70 and version 3.7 0.1. Fitbit customer carries useless and they do not have a Disability Support team to assist people. Google Disability Support Team was equally useless. thank you for your feedback.

My less than 1-yr old Sense also has this issue in my Fitbit app on my iPhone iOS 15; will see if updating to iOS 15.71 and 16.11 makes any difference.

Just stopped 3 displaying 3-days ago.  Still shows the total count.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.

I'm glad some of you've received the fix, and thank you also for sharing the steps that worked for you. For the ones that haven't done so, let me recommend going to the App Store and checking if there is a pending update for the Fitbit app. As mentioned before, this update is progressively rolling out to all our members so if you don't see it yet, please check later.

Your patience is truly appreciated and feel free to let me know if the issue persists after updating to the 3.71 iOS App version.

This problem appears to have occurred with application version 3.69 and was not corrected in version 3.70 or 3.7 0.1. Last week version 3.71 was introduced and appears to have corrected the problem. The Apple voiceover screen reader I use as a blind community member has noticed a change in the no data available button being removed hit I am told the information is available on the Fitbit user database. This thread will probably be aggregated with others. Fitbit has not made the information on the screen available to blind users using voiceover. Maybe someday they will?
