Heart rate isn't displayed on the Fitbit app

My versa is tracking my heartrate - I can see it on the device. However, if I sync to the fitbit app on my iphone, since 2 days ago my heartrate is not displaying at all.  If I look on windows website on my fitbit profile, the heartrate is logged.  How do I get the mobile app to log the heartbeat again?

Hi @Debbie2203It’s great to have you on board! I'm sorry for the delay in my response.

I'm sorry about this situation, and thanks for bringing it to my attention. Just to confirm, do you refer to the live heart rate, or is the issue with the heart rate history not showing up? Please provide me with a screenshot and attach it in your reply, to look into this. Also, let me know your iPhone's model and iOS version.

While this shouldn't happen, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and log back in.
  5. Tap on the heart rate tile, and check your information.

By the way, I've moved your post to the iOS board, as I believe you'll receive more related responses about this situation.

Let me know how it goes. Woman Happy

Hi

thank you for the response.  the live heartrate on the fitbit device works fine.  It is when you go to the fitbit mobile app, and you click on the heartbeat tile.  Then there are major gaps. So it seems the problem is with the iPhone fitbit app.  I have downloaded the latest version but it is still problematic. It was all working fine until the 17th July. Then the issues started. I must admit I had other connectivity issues on the IOS as well, so I downloaded the latest IOS version last night. I am hoping that will resolve it? On the website from my desktop the fitbit application seems to have all the detail of my exercises. See the images attached and you will see the major gaps.  I have an iPhone 8. I downloaded IOS V12.4 last night. Will see if it happens again.file-1.pngfile1.png

I'm having this same issue with my FitBit Charge 2. It suddenly stopped charting my heart rate on Monday night, though it is capturing it and shows the current heart rate correctly in the app and on the tracker itself.

Here's my post from last night about the issue: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Heart-rate-chart-not-populating/m-p/3622119#M109059

I have tried all the steps outlined by @LizzyFitbit with no success in fixing the issue—have also disconnected and re-setup the Bluetooth connection and deleted and reinstalled the entire app.

Hi @Debbie2203, I'm glad to see you here again. @utang44, welcome to the Community Forums! I'm sorry for my delayed response.

@Debbie2203, thanks for the screenshots provided. @utang44, thanks to you for sharing the link of your original post. You did a great job with the troubleshooting steps, and I'm glad that the Fitbit app is updated on your iOS devices. By any chance did you take off your Versa from your wrist? Also, where you getting an accurate reading when doing exercise? Sometimes when your device isn't recording a correct reading, it'll show your resting heart rate, which will not show up in the exercise details.

That being said, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Turn off the heart rate on your device. For instructions, see this help article.
  2. Restart your Fitbit device.
  3. Turn back on the heart rate.
  4. Make sure you're able to see a green light on the back.
  5. Wear your device snug on your wrist. If you've not done so, check our tips to improve its accuracy.

Keep me posted! Cat Happy

I too am having problems with my iOS APP.  I have an AltaHR and am running the most up to date iOS software on my iPhone XS and FitBit App software.  The FitBit app does display and tracks bpm resting but it no longer tracks current HR.  I've deleted and reloaded the app on my phone as well as restarting my AltaHR.  The problem didn't correct itself.  Is there anything else I can try?  I've been having this problem for about a month now.
