How do I get my Fitbit to vibrate when a call comes in and when I need to be motivated

My Charge 2 vibrated and notified me that I was getting a call or a text message, now it completely stopped vibrating? It also stopped notifying me when I needed to get motivated? Please help

You can temporarily turn off notifications, not sure if you accidentally did that 

Here's how to turn them on. 

From the clock face, just press and hold the button to turn on notifications, then repeat when you want to turn them off.
