Hourly goal not updating on iOS app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

What is going on with this app for the last couple of weeks? It has quit logging my hourly activity unless I put it in myself. Then as an example, if it is missing hour 9am on Tuesday, it will be missing 9am for days previously already logged. Then to get it to update I have to logout! This getting really annoying! Thanks

Hi there @Rose65, good to see you around. I would recommend to start addressing this issue, to log out from your Fitbit app. Once you are out of your account try to force quit the app:

1. Double tap the home button on your iOS device. Your open apps will show on your device's screen.
2. Close the Fitbit app by swiping the app image in an upward motion. (Optionally you can restart your phone)
3. Reopen the Fitbit app and try again.

I wonder if the app is failing only to update this information or is it happening in general with your other stats? If this is the case, is possible is more related to syncing issues. I recommend to follow the steps of this post for additional help.

Hope this helps and keep me posted how it goes.

I have tried every fix!  I reinstalled the app, I reset the fitbit, I have logged in and out, nothing works!  Basically, only the step tile works consistently, the rest of the tiles: daily activity, water intake, sleep don't work at all.  Even if I input the data, it is there for the moment and then the next time I sync, it has disappeared again.for all of the previous days.  It has messed up all of my averages, my personal goals etc.. I don't understand what happened, it worked perfectly for months and for the last few weeks, it is junk! I am frustrated and I will be contacting customer service directly today.  I was going to upgrade to a different tracker but I am not going to spend the money with Fitbit if they can't even fix this app, especially when they keep posting that it is fixed, funny that there is still so many people having trouble.

Hi there @Rose65, thank you for the update. Based on what you have described, I believe this is an expected behavior which is related to the new iOS Dashboard.

Note that as you mentioned before, the activity tile it will update accordingly when you change for previous dates, but the other tiles will remain on today's data, regardless you navigate to previous days. Here is a post with a brief explanation of the small changes the app has received back then.

Keep me posted, if you need more help.
