How can I turn off the new Feed page in Community or hide it? I only want to see my Friends steps and not waste time with irrelevant chatter.

I'm glad I'm not the only one annoyed with the feed tab. I just want to see the friends tab. They could just leave the tab I last used open. I have to do so many extra steps compared to the last App. I should be able to customize and get rid of it. I don't need a "feed" on my Fitbit App. Ugh

Our team is always looking to improve the Fitbit experience and the best way to get their attention is through your comments and votes.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply!

Yes, TOTALLY worthless. I have 2 items on there. One is from 21 days ago and the other is from 58 days ago. I can't delete them either.

Get tid of the community feed or place the tab farther back! It is annoying to have to go through several strps to see uour friends. It is counter intuitive.

I understand your concern about how the Community tab is now distributed, as I mentioned above, my best recommendation is voting an commenting on @MBiedz's suggested idea. This is the best way to get the attention from our development team so they can take a look at it.
I hope this can be helpful; in the meantime, if there's anything else I can help you with, please let me know, I'll be happy to continue helping you.

Hello!
I voted on @MBiedz's suggested idea.to either remove the Community Feed, or place it 2nd. I agree with all the previous comments, and those posted along with the idea, that it's annoying. Looks like there are roughly 46 votes for this. What is the process at FitBit for these suggestions? Is there a minimum number of votes required before a change is made?
Thanks!
Pam

Agreed. This tab needs to go or be moved back priority. I have one post that someone made about herself from months ago. I open my app and it's just a picture of her and a trophy. I should be able to open my app and see my steps and my friends. It's very discouraging.

Unfortunately not everyone using Fitbit and the app will ever come on this forum, I have a bunch of friends who have just stopped using the app because they hate this small change so much, but you will never hear from them here for precisely this reason - they don't want to be part of the Fitbit 'Community' - they just want to share fitbit with their friends who have now been demoted as deemed unimportant by Fitibit.

I used to give fitbits to friends and family as a gift. With fitbit's recent move to force a community feed, I can no longer endorse their product and will seek out a different product in the future. It is one thing to make it optional for those who care for such things, but its present implementation is presumptive and annoying.

I went and voted in favour of this proposal. I see many others have as well. Is anything happening with this suggestion? I hope we see some change soon.

Sadly, I don't think so. Fitbit must think we are in the minority. Between my wife and I, we have had four fitbits over the years. I bought her a smart watch for Christmas. When mine dies, it will be my last too.

The reality is that mine is 1 year old. So far, my fitbits have lasted me 2 years before I've bought another, so I'm on the second year. If the past is to be believed, I would have been buying another by the end of this year. I will likely move to another platform when I find one that I like. I expect that most other disgruntled fitbit owners will be doing the same. The bottom line is that it does not affect fitbit's bottom line until we move to the next generation.
The best way to force fitbit is to write negative reviews wherever you can. Their insensitivity to the customer will make a more significant impression on potential buyers.

Why after a year of asking for this feed to go away is it still there?
i am really about to get rid of my Fitbit.
its amazing to me that no one asked for it, no one wants it and it’s still there
