@Edboc there's a comment in the announcement thread at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/News-Announcements/Announcing-the-Community-social-feed/m-p/1904579#... about hiding the feed (but note the other comment about it being temporary)

You want me to read it for you?
No.
I updated the APP, deleted it and re-added the APP and still unable to see the new community and feed features. How do I turn it on?

@Lesleyjw1 are you based in the US? It's currently limited to US users but should be automatic for them.
Best AnswerI do not want to see feed when I click over to community. How do I turn it off?? It's very annoying.

@Tangodancer1 you can't turn it off but check the link in post #4 in this thread where you can hide it (at least temporarily).

@Lesleyjw1 I'm afraid I can't explain why you are not getting the feed. My understanding is that if your country is set to US in your profile settings at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile then it should just appear.
Is your app on the latest level? I'm just wondering if there is an outstanding update on your phone.
If not, perhaps it's worth contacting customer support as they may be able to see what's going on from the server side: contact.fitbit.com
Best AnswerHere is the temporary workaround from the other thread:
In your settings on the web dashboard, change your LANGUAGE BY REGION/COUNTRY to United Kingdom (English, U.K.). The social feed tab will then revert back to the friends tab.

Am I the only person that finds this a pathetic solution???
I will never understand developers that add these lame "features" and force them upon us?
Give us the option to turn it off!!! We are the paying customers! It is our device!

I don't know why you would want to see the feed. The first thing I want to see is my Friends and see how far behind me they are. I HATE to have to go to feed first, then friends. Whoever thought of this should have to walk a LONG LONG way!!!
