How does a person delete old notifications from the app? I have notifications going all the way back to March when I first got my Fitbit. There seems to be no way.

So they do not drop off and I can't delete them - this is awful.

The issue seems to be resolved on my i6s. After some time mine have started disappearing. Seems about 60 days. Try re-starting your phone, but mine just corrected with no action of mine.

So all my notifications are still there - I've re-started and everything - I really hate this.

@Dowenrn @Phyllisf @1Nelly @gg2b It's great to see you in the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to report that you are also experiencing this.
Please note that, as mentioned above, at this moment it's not possible to remove in-app Notifications. These notifications do not take space on your phone as they're only a few kilobytes.
I'd like to suggest you to check this Feature Suggestion. Feel free to add your vote and comment, this is the best way to make your voice heard.
@LesE I hope you're doing well! I'm glad that your notifications started to disappear.
Keep me posted!

Logging out did not solve the problem for me. Notifications are June 2018 And earlier

@FerdinandFitbit wrote:When it comes to the in-app notifications, these will delete themselves every 30 days, so the oldest ones if they're more than 30 days old, they will start disappearing.
If this isn't happening, you can log out of the app and log back in and see if that works.

Thus didn't work for me. I always have the red "notification" dot there, but my last notification was June 14. I deleted and re-installed the app, restarted my phone. Still there. ERGGG

So I’ve done the restart, the log off/log on, swipe right, swipe left, swipe top to bottom, swipe bottom to top? None works!
I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing, but now I’m not getting any notifications?
A company this size should be able to fix the problem, it’s not like it’s a new problem, looking at these post?

Ditto to all of the past 2 years worth of back & forth about this problem. My notifications never drop off or change. The latest is still June 30, 2018. I have tried all of the suggestions, numerous times. I receive “notifications” every day (met your goal, etc) but they do not show up on app. Ever!

Hello @DaChief thanks for joining the conversation, welcome to the Fitbit Community. It's nice to see you too @SunsetRunner I hope you're doing well.
@DaChief thanks for letting us know you've already tried to troubleshoot this situation. Tell me, are you not able to see Notifications in your Fitbit device or the Fitbit app?
@SunsetRunner and @DaChief note that in-app Notifications were removed on June 2018 because it was heavily requested by many people in the Community. Now you're only able to receive Goal-based Notifications as push notifications in your phone.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we'll be waiting to hear from you.

This is just another example of FitBit's poor customer service. This has been a known issue for over two years and FitBit has still not taken the initiative to fix it. One more reason I'm saving up so I can switch to an apple watch. Fitbit will end up going the way of Blackberry if they don't start listening to what their customers want.
