I just updated the app, hoping to revert back to the useful average sleep hour line... no such luck!  Worthless sleep score still has not been removed, despite so many user complaints.  Get a clue, FitBit

Why has this been marked as solved when there is no resolution???

Best Answer

Agreed ... hoping that FitBit reads all the complaints and takes it as a call for corrective action.

It's interesting that some phones seem to be able to go back to average hours and others can't. I'm on an S7 and still have no option to turn it off.

Mine just started sleep score..  sucks.    Need at least an option to display hours slept

Why did Fitbit consider this to be a solution? No solution has been offered. I called and spoke with a customer service agent, and he thanked me for my feedback about the crappy update but said that there is nothing you can do to get sleep average back. Everyone - please keep posting incessantly about this. The more we post, perhaps it will move this issue up to be addressed. Action is needed!!

I agree!  FitBit, please give us back our average sleep hours.  The sleep score has no useful meaning.

The website still shows Avg Hours. Who knows if that will change next. What’s the point of the app if I have to use a browser to get the data I want?

Best Answer

But still no way to get Avg Hours of Sleep in the app

This is a problem for me too. I want average hours easily accessible and the ability to turn off sleep score. The sleep score dues nothing for me since I don’t sleep all in one chunk and have sleep disorders. If this doesn’t get fixed I’ll be looking to replace my Fitbit.

Swipe between sleep score and hours slept in the week…

It still doesn't show your weekly average sleep time just a silly "sleep score"

Best Answer

Mine still doesn't show sleep average even on that screen.

If you log onto your account on laptop it still shows sleep average...what the heck.

OK, just figured it out on the phone.  From the useless sleep score screen, swipe left once.  Then tap the graph.  You will see a large graph for the week and your weekly average.

This update is ridiculous!

I just want to see my avg sleep hours in the first screen if the sleep time like it was prior to the update. Even swiping over you only get the current week. I like seeing the change or consistency week over week.

Thanks @Sigridde for the how-to!  Now at least I can use the mobile app to view weekly avg sleep hours vs logging in to website. Hope they bring back the display on app’s main Sleep view vs requiring so many touches/taps.

I agree! Monitoring my sleep and sleep stages is a key reason for getting the Fitbit. I find the score a “nice to have” rather than a “must have” with duration a “must have”. Please revert or allow us to select our preference!

I agree! I find the score useless - I only care about how much sleep I get. I set sleep goals and I want to see when I meet them, and this new graph doesn’t show any information that I find helpful. Please at least give us the option to revert?? I feel like fitbit has been really missing the mark on many forced changes lately 😞

Yes! I do not want to be judged/graded on my sleep, especially when I hit my personal sleep goal nearly every night. Now I wake to a score of “meh, is that the best you can do?” And there is nothing- and I mean nothing - I can do to improve this anxiety producing score. And I know I can swipe to see sleep time. That isn’t the point. The point is I’m given a sleep goal that is literally impossible to reach. And I’m reminded of that every single morning when I check my stats. I want the sleep score GONE.
