IOS app crashing

Just ran in my first marathon yesterday.

I was looking forward to seeing my mile splits and HR profile but when I went to stop tracking the run all I saw was a message saying that the app had crashed. My first and probably only marathon and Fitbit missed it.

As you mught expect I'm gutted.

In case this helps others avoid such dissapointment here are some details to help Fitbit track the issue and correct it.

Fitbit Charge HR

Fitbit firmware 122 (the actual Fitbit seems to work OK throughout)

IOS App version 2.23Phone Apple 5

IOS version 9.3.2

Huh, thank you so much for providing  that information and I'm sorry this happened @Gordon59

For now, I'd recommend uninstalling and reintalling the app. Just make sure that you log back in with your same email address and password and also, if you're low in storage on your phone, this could also be causing the Fitbit app or others to crash (personal experience) so freeing up some space would come helpful.

Hope this works and let me know if you need more help! Welcome to the Community! 🙂

Some additiional info -

Free memory on phone is 324 MB. Should be plenty.

This is the first and only time that the app has crashed and I've been using it regularly since March.

When chatting to other runners after the marathon one was complaining that their Fitbit app had also crashed, and also for the first time. Could the presence of so many other Fitbits on the other runners have affected the app?

Thanks for getting back @Gordon59.

I don't really think that having many other Fitbit users gathered in the same place would make the app to crash. Still, please keep an eye on it to see how it works from now on and please let us know if this continues to happen and if it does happen, if you notice any similarity to the previous time it did as if you were doing something specifially before it crashed or any other relevant information.

Thanks for your help with this! 🙂
