Hello @Kitnpawz704, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to see new faces around!
Indeed, the Fitbit app is now compatible with the iPhone 8/8+ and X as they have already been added to the list of compatible devices. You should be able to download the app and set up or sync your tracker with those devices.
Now, if you're having trouble syncing or setting up your Fitbit device, please let me know so I can assist you further. Additionally, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply as well!

I just got my Fitbit Ionic 4 days ago, after talking to a Fitbit tech support person on chat and the guy at Best Buy. Both said there was no issues and everything works. I got sent to a web page to verify my iPhone X will work with Fitbit Ionic. I get my device and I don't get any notifications at all for texts or calls. My syncing is not automagical either. I have to either load my app or force it. I am an IT person and I know how to troubleshoot simple stuff even talked to a fitbit agent to troubleshoot. The part that irritates me is that he said that there is a known issues with iOS 11.*.* and Fitbit. Well it sure doesn't say that on the web nor does anyone really know about it. So far, I have: reset the watch 3 times (not factory reset), unpaired-paired 5 times, unchecked all the boxes/dots as far as sync all day, allow notifications on phone, and even on the watch I turned off and on the notifications. literally minus having to actually factory reset the watch which I do believe won't fix the issues. I am forced to return the watch. If you have a iPhone X 11.2.6 and a Ionic and got it to sync and get ALL notifications please reach out to me.

No it is not. It does not get notifications for texts/calls. That is why I am returning mine. Aside from that, the syncing doesn't work that great either. I have to keep loading the app on my phone to get it to sync. My watch just sits there and doesn't do anything automatically.

Hello @JDon84, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for letting me know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. Our engineers are aware of the problem affecting Notification on iOS 11 and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. In the meantime, and if you haven't done it yet, I would like to ask you to go to your phone settings > Notifications > Fitbit and check if "Show in History" is enabled. If it is, tap on it to disable it, restart your phone and enable it back. Then check if your tracker is able to receive Notifications.
Now, when it comes to All-day Sync, please note that if you enable this feature, the Fitbit app should be running in the background and Bluetooth should be on for it to work. Your tracker will sync automatically once it has new data to transfer. If All-day Sync is not enabled, it is required to open the Fitbit app each time you want to sync.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
