Is it possible to use Quick Replies on iOS?

I have the iPhone 8 Plus. I have the Fitbit versa. Can I use the quick reply with my phone? I have googled it and it says yes, yet Fitbit costumer service said iPhone does not work with it. Ugh

Unfortunately the quick reply function only works with android phones. Hopefully this will change at some point in the future.

Hello @bekalynnh, thanks for joining the conversation, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @SteveH, thanks for your insight about this situation. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention @bekalynnh. Please note that this feature has been intentional added by our development team recently. However, at the moment it's only possible to use Quick Replies with messages coming through the Fitbit app

I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

When will quick replies feature for 3rd party apps and IOS be available ? Im looking at buying a Fitbit smart watch but I am an iPhone user and this compatibility issue for IOS users could potentially stop me buying a fitbit. Theres a lot of posts saying ifs not available but nothing confirming any estimated dates???

Thanks.

Unfortunately, fitbit have not given any dates for when this will be available. If, as people speculate, it's not there at the moment because of restrictions imposed by Apple then it may be more of a case of "if" rather then "when".

Hello @Harry101, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, thanks for joining the conversation. It's nice to see you too @SteveH, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for posting your question. Please note that as @SteveH mentioned, due to restrictions in the iOS environment, our team has not yet added functionality for Quick Replies on other apps other than the Fitbit app. However, once we have more information to share about this feature, we'll make sure to post it here in the official Forums.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, have a great day.
