Since updating my phone to iOS 13.4.1 my charge 3 will not synch. Have tried everything  in the help function.

Does anyone else experience This problem and did you fix it

thanks Shane

Use Fitbit’s chat. It’s worth the wait and the “line” moves pretty quickly. Do try the “forget” my device and then reinstall I posted previously.

Good luck. I was so frustrated I wanted to ask for a refund and invest in an Apple Watch (maybe Apple’s intensional?) But thanks to a competent chat person all is well now.

Good news for you. I did what you mentioned and now I can’t reconnect to Bluetooth. I had a horrible experience with Chat. And have been emailing with customer service but they don’t respond. So I’m ready to call it quits and use a different product. Even if they fixed it at this point it had been 4 weeks and that’s just not good enough!

Not apples issue... it’s a Fitbit issue. They won’t help. They can’t fix it so the problem is there’s . They shouldn’t offer compatible device when it’s not.

I tried having bluetooth forget the charge 3 and then I reconnected it and

I have an iphone model 6.

It only worked for six days so I’m back to having to add the HR Inspire (from scratch) every time I
Want to sync.

It will still absolutely not sync on my iPhone.

It would be good if Fitbit can fix this soon. I still have my old iPad as
the fallback but it is so slow that I have to start entering food and
beverage consumption the day before I eat and drink. I think it uses tiny
vacuum tubes. :-))

I dealt with this issue with my Charge 3 as I was trying to sync it to my
both my iphone and ipad. Every time I got it to work on one device it was
short lived and I had to repeat all of the steps that i have detailed in
earlier posts. And then I decided to just focus on my iphone. Initially I
deleted the app from my ipad but that messed up the iphone as well. So I
left the app on my ipad but deleted the bluetooth link to the app and also
deleted the device on my ipad app. I then did all of the steps to sync my
iphone and it worked and has been syncing now for well over a week. Having
the app Always On also helps as it rarely has to be prompted to sync. Good
Luck!

Thank you for that. I have given up trying as nothing was working for me. I now note iOS 15 is prompting me to download and install which I am loath to do in light of all the problems Apple are having with this software.....one problem now compounded by another!...thanks again for your help

I have downloaded IOS 15 to my IPhone in the vain hope that it would work with Fitbit. It doesn’t work - it has made no difference at all - My Charge 3 will still won’t work so back you Fitbit designers to get it sorted and hopefully quickly. We have all been waiting for a few weeks now and time and our patience is running out.

you cant be serious - i was hoping against hope that the new software would
facilitate synch

i have heard from fitbit on 2 occasions asking me to be patent - they have
engineers working on the problem - i agree its taking a very long time
whatever it is that they are doing - im also very fedup at this point and
thinking of changing from fitbit - this is exactly what apple are hoping -
its been several weeks now with no success from fitbit

Hi,

Can you please give us ANY indication of when this will be fixed ?

Its been almost three weeks for me and I have tried everything numerous times on both

ipad and iPhone.

I can get it to sync once only on my old ipad but shutting down and reinstalling everything....everytime...

No sure who you are directing this email at?
I’ve given up on Fitbit as having now updated apple software to 13.5, fitBit not compatible with this either so looks like Fitbit and apple no long compatible, ( for my iphone8 and charge 2anyway) and don’t synch.......again I have uninstalled, reinstalled and done everything to no avail. Fitbit have never responded only once to say their engineers were working on it....I’ve given up and looking at new systems

Yes I had horrible feeling this was so... I was directing to Fitbit moderator. They seem to respond sometimes. I would rather they were just honest.
I still have friends who are ok with their Inspires but don’t think they updated.
