We've aware of an issue when entering a custom food, total calories are dictated by whatever the number is for "Calories from fat". If you have 0 calories from fat, you will see 0 Calories.
We’re currently working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution. We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

I Know a few people are having this issue. So I think it needs to be addressed by Fitbit! I cannot create a custom food all of a sudden. It will not save the calories. It just started this week 4/1/20). This is extremely annoying. PLEASE FIX!!!!!

No decimal point on entering nutritional data for custom food
Calories revert to 0 when saved and added

I tried creating a custom food and it’s not saving the calories I entered. Just shows the “custom food” I saved has 0 calories. I checked to see if app or my phone needs updates. None. Exited app and logged back to try again. Nothing. Turned off phone and turned back on. Still nothing.

When I went in on Thursday, 4/2 to record steps and food, there was a hang on, we are cleaning things up for you message. I waited, got in, it synced and refreshed, steps were there and I went in to custom record some food. Typed in the food, the serving amount, the calories and hit save. It saved everything except the calories. Tried 4 more times.exact same thing, will save everything but calories keep coming up at zero. AND there is no edit/delete function on the app, to get rid of incorrect things that have been saved. I have the app, so that while traveling or out somewhere, I can keep track of things, without relying on a desk top PC! Any advice? Where do I go to let fitbit peeps know there is an error?? Thanks in advance! Danni

I have an iPhone 8 Plus. Can’t enter custom foods. Always comes up as 0 calories. Just started with the last update.

On iOS IPhone 6
I entered a new custom food along with calorie values but calorie values won’t save. It keeps showing as zero. This has happened twice in the past two days. I checked for updates, switched off Bluetooth, logged out of Fitbit app and switched off phone. None of these worked. Help please.

I am using an iPhone SE. I noticed recently that any Custom Food I am trying to add will not update all the nutritional details, particularly the calories. I have checked and my phone is updated with the current IOS.
