@JuanFitbit I just downloaded 4.28.1 and still has no history since Aug 26. Every day is still a zero for steps, distance, and floors.

@JuanFitbit When I try to update for the daily steps (and other numbers) for a new day I have to pull down on the screen 10 to 15 times. It is only when the error message pops up that the phone cannot sync that the steps (and other numbers) then appear. So when the app says the sync failed - the numbers appear. ???

@dwin I just got an email that my ticket 7-1678000036481 was closed due to release next week of V4.28.1.
Fitbit is just closing tickets for working numbers, not for customer satisfaction!
I sent this Community post to them and requested it to be reopened.

Same here. Another utterly useless "update." As I keep saying, I don't understand what's going on, but you can't tell me Google isn't doing this on purpose.
---
Same thing happens for me. The app seems to sync, the sync dialogue shows "just now" but the app doesn't reflect the new numbers. I have to try and refresh it over and over, then eventually it shows the new numbers. Often I will go back to the app later, and the steps are again at zero, I have to fool with it and eventually it updates. But, this also has been the case since this app was imposed on us. It's just another of many indicators of what a sloppy, poorly designed program it is. Seems to me Google could easily restore the old Windows Dashboard we all want, and the problem would be solved. I just don't get it. I'm so sick of their intransigence.
I repeat...Google...I used the original Fitbit Windows Dashboard for over TEN years, and never once had a problem. Then, you come along and buy Fitbit, and trash it. Amazing. Maybe we shouldn't be all that surprised when you consider all the government lawsuits and actions against Google. Seems like Google could benefit from a giant Executive "update."

I use a Charge 4 or (Charge 2 as backup). I will not move to Charge 5 or 6 due to no Elevation/Steps.
When I look at App for daily steps, I swipe down it doesn't always show same value as on Charge 4. But if I move to yesterdays results and then back to today, it will update.
I bet it gets worst as the device you wear is more complex.

FYI - the process of getting the numbers for starting up the current day (like steps) by pulling the screen down enough times till you get the sync error message and then the numbers appear is pretty consistent with the new version of the app. It is odd that the one time the app tells you things aren't working is when it does.

Please everyone reading this, please list what device you wear for tracking?
It will show different issues with each device.
