Any idea what the lock icon means that appears on the top left next to the GPS icon during a run/walk when gps and the map is active? You can toggle between a closed and an open lock by tapping it. I can't find an answer anywhere in the help files.

Hi there @Raking, let me help you with this, but not before I give you a warm welcome to our Community.

 

The lock icon on the GPS map, will fix your location. In other words it won let you manually navigate thought the map, since it will be fix on your current location.
