When checking the dashboard and entering new screen to check some detailed data, for example click on steps or heart rate and then getting back to main dashboard, there are multiple placeholders that are blank and filled after data is retrieved again from server.
I suggest that current dashboard date data is cached so when getting back from detailed page to the main dashboard, it does not stay with empty placeholders. This is both annoying and unnecessary not to mention being very unattractive from UI point of view.

Hello again @KlimentToshkov
The video is fantastic and makes your point very clear! That was an excellent idea to get your explanation of issue across! It’s very unfortunate that your Fitbit App does that. I’m confused as to why it does. I don’t experience this at all. I tried to duplicate it several times but I couldn’t. Do you have the most current iOS update?? Mine is 13.1.3 and my current Fitbit App is version 3.8. Are you running these current versions?
Also I’m wondering if it would be beneficial for you to just delete the current app and reinstall and see if that doesn’t improve this. It might be worth a shot.

Well I am glad to see it isn’t just me! Though mine won’t hold even the places for steps, active minutes, or stairs. All mine shows is calories. Sometimes it’s populated. Sometimes not. I’ve already tried all the basic tech support “try this to fix it” nonsense.
I agree that this is nonsense since I now can’t see where I am at with this all. (I’ve a Fitbit One clipped to my waistband; checking in public isn’t possible)

Hello and welcome @KlimentToshkov and @SteppingBooks
Im sorry your experiencing this view of the main page of the Fitbit App. I too have experienced this a couple of times. I was able to resolve this by force shutting my Fitbit App. Hopefully that will work for you as well.
Here’s how:
log out of your Fitbit App
force shut the app by swiping it upward
now turn off your iOS device completely and wait 1-2 mins then restart your iOS device
log back into your Fitbit App as you normally would with your email address and password
now sync your Fitbit Tracker
**Sometimes I have to rearrange my tiles back where I want them by using the “edit” button on the upper left just under the notifications envelope.
😃 I hope my suggestion resolves your issue and makes your main page viewable again. Please keep me posted

Hi
I am sorry to say that your advice is completely irrelevant.
What I am experiencing and explained is that after returning from subscreen (detailed page with data for sleep or heart rate for example) to the main dashboard, almost all placeholders are empty and you can see that their values are filled with 2-3 seconds delay. This is frustrating from UX point of view, given that the dashboard was open for specific date and the data for this day (date) should be cached and used when returning to the main dashboard.
Hope you'll understand now.

@KlimentToshkov I apologize for misunderstanding. I saw your screenshot and assumed you are talking about the Fitbit app main “today” screen. The online “Dashboard” (here on this site) I have looks nothing like your screenshot but looks just like the Fitbit App main “today” screen. Either way when I go back to let’s say yesterday the back place holders as you call them are my challenges that are no longer active but I can see them in the place holder but in a grayed out fashion.... but my steps and other information is clearly visible.
I guess my question is are you asking if what your seeing is normal? Or are you making a suggestion on how they should look? From my point of view they are not normal in the respect that when I tap my back button to see yesterday’s step count as an example it’s there. So that is why I suggested the restarting of your device to see if that would help solve the issue and those place holders will again be filled with information (minus challenges)

I have removed the app and downloaded it again. Seems to be working better now (confused).

That’s awesome @KlimentToshkov !! I’m happy my suggestion worked. No reason to be confused....maybe something happened to the Fitbit App during installing or something like that that caused the app to glitch. I’m just happy your up and running again. Could you please tap the “choose as best answer” under the post with my suggestion to reinstall the app? I’d appreciate it. It really helps others who come to this community looking for answers to issues similar to your own 😃

Hi. Sorry to say that it started happening again after I upgraded to new iPhone. Tried to delete the app and reinstall it fresh, but still does the same behaviour.
And something that puzzled me - when swiping up to see the stats, now charge3 shows active hours and some other stats that it did not show before. but that's second to main problem.
Any advice now?

Check this video to see two problems. First is already reported slow refresh and second is that after refresh the whole screen is scrolled down and top tile is shifted up.

Hello again @KlimentToshkov
This is quite odd. The first time I watched it my first thought was “maybe his internet speed is slow”. The second time I noticed your calorie count change in a large jump. I agree the refresh speed is super slow. Can you log out of your app, swipe it up, shut done your device then restart again and log back on. Do you get the same results? I’m wondering if you cleared your cache, and close any program working in the background might help as well. Also do you have a lot of add on apps tied into your Fitbit tracker?

I did add you requested. Logged out of app, killed it, restarted iPhone then logged back in the app. Miraculously it works fine now. But the issue with top tile remains. It is partially hidden. In regards to cache I don’t know which cache you mean if it’s phone or app but don’t know how to clear either of them. About Apps on the tracker it is charge 3 so only default apps are installed. Phone is brand new iPhone 11 Pro Max I doubt its slow 😀
did you have any changes to stats displayed recently on screen of tracker? now it shows active hours which did not before. Not that important just asking.

Calories changed because I changed dates look close. About the stats I was asking it is in the screen that shows when you swipe up and details show.

Honestly I don’t know about anything new that was added to the Charge 3 tracker screen. My Fitbit Tracker is not as fancy (I have an Alta HR...but works like a champ) I don’t work for Fitbit but If new items were added I’m assuming you can look under the description of the Fitbit App version details or any Charge 3 firmware version details. They might give a few clues. You know I’m guessing here but could you have your screen setting size altered a bit and that’s why it’s possible that it appears short at the top. Just a thought. Anyway happy we were able to address and resolve some of the issues. Your other question might be better suited to post in the Charge 3 forum here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-3/bd-p/charge3

Hello again @KlimentToshkov
One more thought. I looked at my main page and noticed something different, I always put my current challenge tiles “above” my step count in the large circle. Can you try putting just one tile above your step count....like your exercise tile as an example...and see if that stops the chopping off look at the top. Just curious if it makes a difference. (Just use edit on the upper left, rearrange, tap save)
