MapMyRide no longer translating into steps

I bike a good amount, especially in the summer, and use MapMyRide, which always resulted in "translated" steps. Today it didn't do that, although the activity showed up. What's changed?

This seems like a very odd situation, since when did you start experiencing it? In this particular situation I would like to suggest you to restart the connection between both devices. 

 

In order to do this:

  1. Go to My Applications on the Fitbit website.
  2. Search for MyFitnessPal and click on Revoke Access.
  3. Log into MapMyRide.
  4. Click the Improve tab and then select Device Connect.
  5. Find Fitbit on the list and click the Connect button. You're taken to fitbit.com.
  6. Log in with your Fitbit credentials.
  7. Go back to MapMyRide and go to your workout dashboard.
  8. Click the Import Workouts button
  9. Next to Fitbit click the Sync button.
