Mile Split not showing on Surge for Bike Ride

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Have selected the Bike exercise and the GPS has found the Sataliite.

Completed a 15 mile ride and the Surge synced with IPhone when I returned.

The bike route has been tracked and the total distance is shown.

The mile splits are not being displayed however.

My app and the Surge are are current versions.

Can anyone offer suggestions as to how to have the splits displayed?

Thanks

Hello @RJDunphy, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community. These is the way it works the two type of activities you are mentioning.

With Runs you will have split time that will represent a lap for each mile you achieved. With Biking the way the exercise is recorded is different and wont display split miles since it is taken as a continue exercise.

There is no option to modify the way it works, but we're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, and we very much appreciate all of the input we receive from our users. The best place to make your voice heard is the Feature Suggestion board on our community. Feel free to

contribute with your feedback.

This is a great way to let us know what you'd like to see in the future. Catch ya later!

Having the timings for each mile would be useful as it would be indicative of which points the rider is tiring and the effect of terrain etc. Should we actually select hike when doing a bike to get these details?

thanks
