As of this evening, most of the data for my FitBit One for the past week is missing: Steps, Distance, Floors. On the main Today view the data for today is there and updating, but when I scroll back to previous days it shows the same data as today. The last day for which data is correct is Monday Aug 26.
Some of the data does appear to be intact: Active Minutes and Weight.
Updating the app (iOS) didn't help; nor did restarting my fitbit.
I contacted my parents to see if they were having the same issue; Dad has a FitBit One and saw the same thing; Mom has a different FitBit model and her data seems to be intact. So maybe this is just related to FitBit One? (Which makes no sense, as the past data should be stored on the fitbit server...)
I contacted fitbit help over the chat, and was told they are aware of the issue that that a fix would be coming "sometime in the next several weeks". Which seems way to long to fix an issue that is fundamental to the device.
I'm just wondering if anyone else is seeing this behavior?

I'm seeing the exact thing--last good day was 8/26. My data from yesterday is also now missing when it was available intermittently yesterday. I also have a Fitbit one but agree..data is data and we all use the app.
To Fitbit team.. I sync continuously all day. So, it's not a function of "waiting to sync".

Having a very similar issue on my Android. I have the Charge 6 and since late last night, it has not collected/synced any new data. Also most data from previous entries have been wiped. Some data is still showing, but my most important data is not.

Update (Sep 4): As of this evening, the past days' data returned. I had to reboot my Fitbit to get it to sync again, but for now it seems to be working as expected.

Update 2 (Sep 5): And now this morning it's back to missing data and not synching. ☹️
(the app says it synched after I rebooted the Fitbit, but it doesn't show any steps data for today or any previous days)

I am having the same problem - No good data after August 26. For yesterday it shows the data for today - and for the prior day the same and the prior day the same thing going back over a week.

And, again I had the same experience. It was back for a day(?) but now is gone again. Today's steps come and go, too.

I also am using a Fitbit One and having the exact same issue. It seemed to be all back last night and as of this morning the data was missing again. But it still correctly shows my step streak so the underlying data is somehow there but just not showing up. It shows me with about 20% of my total steps on 8/26 and then nothing after but all of the active minutes are correctly reflected.

My wife and I both have fitbit one's. All step and floors data are missing since August 26. August 27 appears to have partial data. Syncing the fitbit does not update the current day.

I had that brief period of time where everything was back again on Wednesday night, and then it all went away again. Seems like all of the Fitbit One users are having the same issue.

Same issue; it seems to have started when the app was updated in the past couple of days. It does seem to sync (if I go to the "Friends" page that show the total for the last 7 days, it does update after the app claims the FitBit One was synced, but the daily totals do not appear. They show up sometimes, intermittently, and if they do, then that same data gets repeated on previous days if you scroll back.
I think it is pretty clear that this is a result of the latest iOS app update to version 4.25.

I'm having the same issues as above. One additional observation in case it helps. When I go to the August and earlier monthly calendar views for "Exercise days", there are green circles that correctly show the days I exercised, while the weekly views are empty for any manually entered exercise activities.

Same happening to me with Fitbit One, latest version 4.25 of app on iPad. App not showing previous days, or previous days repeat current day total. Week total not showing, month total not showing. This has been occurring 2 - 3 days now. I want to know my weekly running total so I can plan how to finish each week. This strange failure is stunningly irritating, and seems to fall in with your removal of the Windows dashboard, which was superior to your new app, which you have forced on everyone. Like it or not.
Will you Please fix the app NOW? Immediately. Not weeks from now, but NOW.
Thank you.

I am so glad to know I am not insane!!! I have the exact same problem and tried everything, I am hoping that Fitbit/Google reads this and fixes it!
I love my One - nothing else compares.

My Versa 2 - iPad combo also has missing data when reviewing previous months. I use the exercise app daily as well as the auto run/walk setting. I've been using this combo since November 2022 and recorded exercise everyday but 5 in that time. Reviewing past months shows only about 8 days of exercise when there was a full month of daily exercise. July 20th my 2km track run reportedly took 654 months and 21 days. (no seconds) Same time has replaced all run exercise sessions.

I have a Fitbit One and I’m have the same exact issue…no steps have recorded on the app since August 26th. Fitbit told me to restart my app or restart my phone and it should work. Yeah, ok. I’ve been using my Fitbit One and the app for over 7 years and this is the first time I’ve had an issue with syncing that has lasted longer than a few hours. I know other people who have other Fitbit devices and have no issue with the iOS app. I can’t believe they didn’t test the newest version of the app prior to releasing it.

Hey everyone,
I called Fitbit support and sat on hold for 45 minutes (so fun!! - at least they have decent music). The support tech told me that they anticipate releasing a new update by the end of the week. Let’s pray it corrects the issue.
