MobileTrack not syncing or setting up on iPhone 7

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

'Resolved' thread is getting no attention. This issue is not resolved. I cannot set up nor use mobiletrack. Continually says sync now but will not sync. Iphone 7+ with todays update for fitbit and current Ios build. Please fix. I forgot my fitbit ad home and this is frustrating.

Hello @Hemi4cs, I hope you're having a great day, it's great to see you around. Smiley Happy

If MobileTrack is not syncing or setting up on the Fitbit app, please force-close the app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app. Then open it and try to set up or sync MobileTrack again. If that doesn't seem to do the trick, please remove MobileTrack (if you have it enabled), restart your phone and set it up once again.

Additionally, please go to your phone Settings, scroll down and search for Fitbit  and make sure Motion & Fitness is enabled. If it is, disable it, and enable it once again to reset it.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

I've done all that. Multiple times. No good.

Hello @Hemi4cs, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply.

It seems very odd that MobileTrack is not able to be set up on your iPhone 7. Which iOS version do you currently have? Would it be possible for you to send me a screenshot of the Fitbit app when you're trying to set it up? That will be very helpful for me to investigate this further.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting for your reply!

I too am having the exact same issue on my iPhone 7plus. All apps and iOS are up-to-date. MobileTrack says it's syncing, but then it doesn't. I've tried resetting, removing, restarted, and everything that I could find on the fitbit community about this issue. Still no good.

Hello @sotiri, thanks for joining us, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! Smiley Happy

It seems very odd that MobileTrack is not syncing on your mobile device. Please go to the Settings on your phone and scroll down until you found Fitbit, then make sure Motion & Fitness is enabled as well as Background App Refresh.

Then, force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button and swiping it up. Restart your phone and try to sync MobileTrack once again.

Give this a try and let me know the outcome, I'll be happy to continue assisting you.

I tried that and it still didn't sync. Anything else I can try. I'd really like to get this working as I can't always wear my fitbit, but phone is always with me. Thanks.

At this moment we have just released a new version of the Fitbit app, please update it and try to sync MobileTrack again. In case it's still not syncing, please uninstall the app, restart your phone and install it once again.

I hope this can be helpful, thanks for your patience and understanding. Please let me know the outcome!
