New Sleep Tracker

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hiya,

I had an old Charge HR which used to track my sleep the "old" way, with the barcode looking bar showing periods of restlessness/awake etc. I recently got a new Alta HR & was well chuffed with the new sleep tracker showing R.E.M./light sleep/deep sleep etc... except it only did this on the first night. It's now showing my sleep back in the "old" way. Why is this and how can I sort it please?

Thanks!

Kelly

Me again,

the sleep tracker has only half worked last night! Reverted back to the "new" Style, but whilst it's given me my total time asleep, it's only detailing 15 mins light sleep and nothing else.

any help appreciated!

thanks

I'm having the same issues. My charge 2 has only given me the rem, and deep sleep info once.

fitbit says the tracker is either too loose, or the battery is critically low.

My battery was at 35% charge, and the tracker left a slight indent on my wrist when I woke up, so I know it was tight enough!

this is VERY frustrating!

Hello @KellyG1988 and @Pruff, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board! Smiley Happy

@KellyG1988, this seems like a very odd situation; however, in this case I would like to suggest restarting your Alta HR and monitor it for the next couple of days to check if your sleep is being tracked correctly.

To restart your Alta HR:

  1. Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your Alta HR will begin charging.

  3. Press the button on your charging cable three times within four seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  4. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

@Pruff, we're currently working towards making sleep stages available for all Charge 2 users, so it's possible you're experiencing this issues because they're still not fully implemented. Please keep an eye on this thread, that will be updated with new information for Charge 2 users once a resolution has been provided.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
