I upgraded to an iPhone 7 from an iPhone 6s. I have an Alta fitness tracker. I have done updates on both the phone and the tracker, but when I go to the app, it says it is "looking" for the tracker. I have done a reset twice on the tracker already and each time it workied, but the next time I try to sync with the app, I get the same error (looking). Any suggestions on what I am missing, if anything?

Hello @scl2017 have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!, it's great to see new faces around.
By any chance, is your old phone around when trying to set up your Alta with your new iPhone? If so, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your old phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices; if it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. If you were using Notifications on your old phone, the Alta had made a bond with it, which is why it's necessary to remove the bond before syncing it with a new mobile device. Additionally, please reset your Alta to remove any unfinished process or bug that might be affecting its functionality.
Please remember that if your tracker has already been paired up with your account, it's not necessary to set it up again, simply open the app to perform a sync. In case your tracker is still not syncing correctly, please check @HelenaFitbit's excellent recommendations in how to resolve these issues.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted!
