When I changed to the new Dashboard, the mobile app stopped counting my steps. Zero steps logged for 5 days now. Exercise is logged - but no steps. How can I change this?

Hi @POM757

Have moved this thread from the Fitbit.com Dashboard to the iOS App section to increase the chance of getting a solution.

Your post will get more attention here.

Hey there @POM757. Good to see you in the Community! 🙂

I'd like to know if your tracker is counting your steps. If your tracker does register your steps and other information, it could be a syncing issue.

I'd recommend restarting your tracker by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons for 10-15 seconds until your tracker reboots and also on your phone, log out of the app and log back in and then try to get it to sync and see if this works.

Let me know how it goes!

Actually, I do not have a tracker at all. The mobile app has been counting steps for years, up til this past Friday when I changed to the new Dashboard.

I am having the same issue. My steps have disappeared completely once I switched to the new dashboard

Go figure! The app counted my steps this morning -- first time in 11 days. I didn't do anything to it; it just started on its own. So I'll just be happy about the change and come back to the forum if it quits working again.

Hi there @POM757. Thanks for getting back!

Great to know that your steps are now being counted. In the future, if it quits counting your steps, make sure that in the "Tracker" section, MobileTrack is enabled as a tracker for it to count your steps and other stats.

Let me know if you need mor help with this! 🙂
