Not Receiving Text Notifications

My Alta will receive Call Notifications, so I know it's set up correctly, paired with Bluetooth, notifications are enabled, yadda yadda. I have even tried the whole shebang of rebooting my phone, restarting my Alta, reinstalling the app, disconnecting and reconnecting Bluetooth, and none of it has worked.

 

I've looked at all the threads, tried all of the options, and still no Text Notifications. I'm getting very frustrated and starting to think something is wrong with the current Alta I have. I have an iPhone 6, and I just checked - everything has been synced and is all up to date. I'm not sure what else I can do here.

 

Any suggestions?

I am having the same issue and have done everything to fix it... Calls come through and calender reminders do too. Just not text messages.

Make sure on your phone's settings, you have "Allow in Notification Center" turned on -

I double checked and the notifications are on, but still no text messages.

I have Alta.

Things I've tried

1) Delete/reinstall the app

2) Restart the phone

3) Restart the fitbit

4) Ensure notifications are on (both iphone and fitbit)

5) Took it off and put it back on bluetooth

 

I get phone calls and calendar reminders on it, just not text messages.

Hi @NerdOn, I can definitely help you out. I'd recommend the following steps:

 

1. Open your iOS Bluetooth settings and forget the Bluetooth bond between your Alta and iOS device.

2. Log out of the App.

3. Reboot your iOS device.

4. Restart your tracker.

5. Log back in to the App and turn on whatever notifications you prefer by: clicking the account button in the bottom right-hand corner > tap the Alta tile at the top > find the option to turn notifications and turn the notifications that you want to receive on.

 

Starting completely from scratch should get you back on track, but keep me posted if this helps!

It's great to welcome you @vdngo. Could you please tell me which device are you using to sync your tracker so I can provide you the correct troubleshoot to fix the issue you have with your notifications?

I am receiving phone calls on my Alta but not text messages. My paired device is an iPhone SE.  I have tried everything recommended in these threads and nothing has worked.  Would appreciate help.
