Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for reporting this to us. I would like to thank those of you who have come back letting us know your issue has now been resolved, I'm very glad.
I understand some of you have already tried several troubleshooting steps and are still having trouble with Notifications on your Fitbit device. Please note that Notifications skip or stop occasionally for several reasons that don't suggest a problem with your device or the Fitbit app, which is why I would like to ask you to check the following:
If you've reviewed the list above and can't get notifications to work, please try the following:
I hope this can be helpful, please give these steps a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

The problem was my watch. Odd. The app settings and iphone settings had the notifications ON, but on the actual watch, they somehow were switched to OFF. I did not realize they could be ON with the app yet OFF on the watch if the two were always syncing. Simple fix but took weeks to figure that out. I just pushed the button on the Charge 2 watch until it showed Notifications "Off" and switched them to ON. Problem fixed.

I have tried turning on and off my phone, unpairing and repairing my FitBit Charge 2 to my phone (Bluetooth), turning on and off notification settings (in my phone settings and FitBit app settings and on the FitBit itself). I used to get all notifications for calls and texts seamlessly but not sure what has changed.
Any help? My phone iOS is up to date (no new versions to download) and my FitBit is showing as up to date as well. I'm at a loss!
