I have a versa lite and iPhone did an update and all of sudden I can not accept text or phone alerts and it seems it is slow counting my steps. I have done every thing you all have suggested and still nothing. Do you think it is going? I have had since 11/19.

Hi @Mad1966 you say that you updated the phone, are you asking if your phone is dying?

Updating the phone will not bother the tracker.

Updating the phone may have reset permissions for the Fitbit app. Have you tried log out/log in in the Fitbit app.

Then check settings and permissions?

For help in setting up notifications tap here.

I'll move you phone question to ios.

The iPhone did an update and my husband thinks it did something to the fit bit. I have logged out, disconnected Bluetooth, turned it off, rebooted, you name it, everything that has been on every page I have done. I guess it is going .

Hi @Mad1966, thank you for getting back and trying the recommended troubleshooting steps. I'd like you to try one more workaround, which has been helpful for this type of issues.

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
  • After this, set up your watch from scratch
  • Make sure to enable the notifications feature

Finally, monitor your Versa Lite and see if it receives notifications properly

Keep me posted on the outcome.
