For iPhone users, when the new dashboard was introduced sometime in the middle of last year, there was an option to preview it and go back to the old dashboard. FitBit removed the option to go back to the old dashboard on the iPhone several updates ago. So unless you are running a fairly old version of the FitBit software on your iPhone, you're stuck with the new dashboard.
I believe that for Android, the roll out of the new dashboard is more recent, thus Android users still have the option to go back to the old dashboard now. But, i would anticipate this to change in the future, and Adnroid users will be stuck with the new dashboard whether they want it or not.

Looks like the new version of the Android app must have rolled out to my phone last night. When I opened it this morning the new dashboard was there and the option to change it back to the old dashboard is gone. I really hate the new dashboard and was still using the old one last night. The new dashboard is just way too cluttered. I like the list format a whole lot better. I have been using a Fitbit device since at least early 2013 and have loved it. Started with the Fitbit One and upgraded to the Charge HR a couple of years ago. But this new dashboard is enough to make me start looking into a different brand for my next upgrade.

They don't care! There are no plans to bring back old dashboard. They are only servicing a certain group of people.
Customer service, which is not located in USA, said they will help you learn the new dashboard, but old dashboard is no longer available.
I will no longer be a customer after 6 fit it's in my family and having been a customer over 3 years.

I will be leaving Fitbit also and will also tell anyone who is considering it to reconsider. The new dashboard is terrible. It upsets me that they changed it. I am not sure why.

I have no account button at bottom right. I hate new version too. If unable to switch back I'm going to give it to somebody else.

You can get the old dashboard back, but will have to disable the automatic updates so you don't get the new dashboard again. Earlier today there was a post to go to this website, APK Mirror. You can download the old version, 2.47, to get the option for the old dashboard back. Let me know if you can't find it & I'll find it & post it again. I did it & I now have the old dashboard back.

found
The website but did not find fitbit, found MI fit. Which is a different type tracker.
Your suggestions are not to go to play store to get the app? Just trying desperately how to get my old dashboard back. 9gadogs.

Since the latest fit bit update I cannot get my old dashboard back.
I have read all the messages on the changes from before and tried them but it looks like the new one is here to stay. Is the old dashboard not an option anymore??

I don't have Switch To Old Dashboard as an option anymore and I hate the new dashboard. I have a Droid Turbo 2 and last update changed my dashboard 😥
