Fitbit Update 03/09/17

Hi everyone -- Some good news to share! This issue should now be resolved!

If you were previously experiencing this issue on iOS, please try it again as our team has pushed out a fix. Feel free to give me some feedback about your post-fix experience. Thank you for your patience as we worked to get you all back on track.

Fitbit Update 2/28/17
It was recently brought to our attention that some iOS users are experiencing their mile splits for GPS workouts don’t add up to the total distance of their workout. Our team is aware of this issue and is currently working towards a fix.

My GPS problem was fixed a while back.  Now the same problem is back again.  I walk twice a day, 5 miles each.  I usually do 18 or 19 minutes per mile (sometimes a little faster).  Now my first two miles are done in 11 minutes!! (impossible).  It usually takes me 1hr and 32 minutes, so I continue to walk the the hour and half and now it logs over 6 miles, even though I only walk 5 miles.  Very frustrating!  Can you guys fix this once and for all?

Good day Derrick

I am using charge with Samsung J7+; Android 7.1.1; Samsung Experience 8.5; using phone GPS and full time connected through Bluetooth.

I am facing problem that distance measured is not matching with actual. Today I had run on marked track having 1.95km in one round and run 3 rounds complete. It accounts for approx 5.85km, but as recorded by charge 2 is 3.85km only. If we take 3.85 as 100% then nearly 60% less than actual. I have checked also units set as km only. Do you able to help me in this problem. For counter verification I run another apps also like pacer and Samsung health for measuring distance and both gives similar results of around 5.85 to 6km in same time. Looking forward to hear from you. Thank you.

Has the distance been updated because my watch said I only walked 2 miles and I walked 4.2.

It also does not track my swimming laps accurately as I swim over a half mile and it doesn't add up right.

Hi, whatever was going on with my Fitbit was resolved. I think there was updated software that took longer to get to me.
