-Four days ago, the Fitbit app quit tracking my exercise days.
-Charge 6 still works fine, and communicates with app.
-I logged out of the app, deleted it, reloaded it from the App Store, and logged back in: still not working.
-Not studying manually tracking my exercise, that is NOT why I strap a tiny robot that monitors me 24/7 to my wrist.
Hello @OldDadEnergy
I looked at the Fitbit Status Dashboard website and saw that there was an issue with the Web API starting around the beginning of September. This impacts data syncing and is apparently the reason why we're having problems with seeing our exercise data in the Fitbit app. The current status is still showing the Web API issue as of today, 06 Sep 2024. So, they must still be working on fixing the problem.
Please be patient. I'll keep checking the status daily. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer before it's fixed and we see all our exercise data again.

Thanks! Good to know they’re working it, at least.
Hello @Jojomurt , @OldDadEnergy @Seokten
The Fitbit Status Dashboard is still showing the Web API service disruption as of today (10 Sep 204).
For what it's worth, a user experiencing the exercise data issue reported yesterday (09 Sep 2024) that Support told them the problem would be fixed in 3 days. Hopefully, the information is correct and it will only a few more days before we see all our exercise data back in the Fitbit app.
Also, a new update to the Fitbit app is rolling out to include the new Pixel Watch 3. However, I haven't seen if the app update includes any fixes.

Same problem. Watch tracks exercise but won't transfer data correctly to app on iphone. Activity is reading zero, steps are exactly the same each day and the calorie expenditure is way over what it should be. I think it's an app problem because I removed my Charge 6 from my account, deleted all data off my Charge 5, reinstalled and set up the Charge 5 and it's doing the same thing! Any suggestions?
Hello @tkeran
According to the Fitbit Status Dashboard, as of today (20 Sep 2024), the Web API service disruption has been fixed.
It may still take some time for our exercise data to sync with the Fitbit app.

We shall see. Hopefully the data will start transferring to the app soon. Thanks for the update.
