Re: Time wrong on blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

have tried auto time location which always shows US time for Los Angeles or set up manually but it still does not sync time but does show correct date. Really getting fed up with my Blaze not correcting time using iPad Pro and tried iphone6 but time is still 10hrs out.

Just do not understand why this thing works in always but has stopped time sync

hello @Stewart1701

Lets try this:

open Fitbit app

tap profile picture on upper left side of your screen

tap advanced setting

Make sure “set automatically “ is enabled in green then re-sync your device

😃 please let me know know if this resolves your issue

Hi thanks for this, unfortunately my blaze shows the correct date but incorrect time.
My time as I write is Uk time 20:45 but Blaze shows 12:45 and whatever I try the difference remains the same.
I have unlinked the watch set up app to GMT or Europe UK but still the time difference does not change.
Checked my phone and I pad when linking both set up same but still time difference will not change. Gone to settings for iPad ensuring correct time and zone re applied to watch via app having gone to advanced settings and again tried both GMT and Europe UK.
Stubbornly the watch remains on the same time difference, it records everything as it should but as a watch has become totally useless.

Baffled still

Hello again,

How about changing the clock face? Its worth a shot 😃 Here’s how:

  1. With your device nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab  > your profile picture > your device image.
  2. Tap Clock Faces  > All Clocks.
  3. Browse the available clock faces. Tap the clock face you want and tap Select to install it.
  4. Sync your device to see the change.

also worth looking at Is your online Dashboard (just tap Dashboard at the top of the screen) Try this:

go to online Dashboard

tap the “gear wheel” at the far right of your screen near your profile picture

select settings in the drop down menu

on the right side of your screen scroll down and find “Clock Display Time”

*here is an option to choose 12 hour or 24 hour. I’m not exactly sure if this will help in anyway but I wonder if switching it would help. I would switch it, sync then see if it gives you what ya want. If not it’s simply to just switch it back then sync again.

😃 please let me know if this works

If my suggestions don’t fix your time issue then I would try restarting your Fitbit Blaze. You will not lose your data doing this. Here’s how:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

😉 keep me updated

I’m beginning to think the app is part of the problem in that it always reverts to Los Angeles time no matter how often I set it to Europe UK time. With this I have yet again set the time zone, then automatic update to green, still reverts to LA. Set it again this time without setting the auto update again it reverts to LA.

Having used Fitbit since Blaze came out, this problem started about two months ago with the time always being wrong. I have deleted the app and reloaded thinking perhaps this was an issue with an update but nothing resolves the issue.
Have to say I’ve never really been that impressed with Fitbit, it does cheat to easily and the aria is not so good.
I’m really losing any confidence with it all and if I can’t tell the correct time it’s just useless even as a watch.

@Stewart1701 Maybe restarting the Fitbit Blaze as I described above will finally do the trick. My fingers are crossed.
