Redesigned Sleep experience now in the iOS app

Why are the sleep scores and data displayed differently? I assume it’s the new ios update, but I preferred the former presentation.

I also noticed that the benchmark function doesn’t work anymore. The graph is missing the comparison values.

I also agree. If things aren’t fixed soon I’m going to Apple Watch.

Same here! I almost switched to the Apple Watch when I got the Charge 6. Had I known they were going to screw up the best sleep tracking display, I wouldn’t have bought this (my 3rd!) Fitbit.

I’ve been a customer for 8 years and am on my 3rd device. I almost switched to an Apple Watch when I bought the Charge 6. The excellent sleep tracking and display was the reason I stayed with Fitbit and now they’ve ruined that! So frustrating! Why don’t they consult with ACTUAL users before making changes that are not improvements at all!

agree this is absolutely awful. Where are the percentages of amount slept in each stage of sleep Numbers alone mean I have to do the math. It's hard to see the results in a line graph why it was simple to see in a bar graph.

I'm paying for the premium sleep apps and I don't get them. In addition if I fall asleep before 12, wake up for an hour and go back to sleep it is listed as an app on the day before. I used to be able to delete what isn't a nap, but is interrupted sleep. Then headed to sleep on that day and combine the two. And get my real amount to sleep and by evening it would have processed all the awake asleep and interrupted sleep together. Now I cannot delete the naps and it makes it really hard to figure out how many hours of sleep I got. In addition I agree with everyone else that it's ugly and hard to figure things out. Why did you do this to us?

I am aware thatonce you make edits you could put functions back as you've done that before when you took away the battery and the upper left. So please don't tell us we're stuck with this and at least make minor changes that will keep us as customers and make the app more useful.

could you please make it possible to delete the nap so we could edit to real sleep functions together. And please also include the percentages as well as the amount of sleep as you did before.

I recognize we're stuck with this disgustingly ugly ugly graph that I hate but at least put back the functions we are paying for this data especially the folks like me who paid for premium.

Absolutely! It's not just taking Challenges away.  They then reorganized the whole stats, placing some in groups making it IMPOSSIBLE to personalize your stats.  No longer can you scroll through your stats. Now you have to go by week, losing certain information. NEXT IS WEIGHT!. This is very important to me and I scroll through history frequently!  IF they change this, I will be looking for another Smart Watch.

I already deleted my Fitbit Premium which renews next month. When this watch goes, I will NOT waste my money on another Fitbit or anything google! Disgusting what they have done and don’t have the COURTESY or COURAGE to even respond with a lame brained response

I agree with most of the complaints about the sleep score updates in the app. I find it much harder to read or interpret than the colored graphs, and it’s much less intuitive to look back through previous days or weeks. Seriously, who designs this stuff and thinks it looks good?

Best Answer

I have been since January 2015, and I will make the change once they change the WEIGHT section.  Google obviously doesn't care for our opinion!

Best Answer

I have no control over updates. I lost my sleep tracker last week!  How did you keep the old SLEEP stats?

Best Answer

Who would vote to support this comment.  Your customers hate the update. Fix it, or you won't be able to get your customers back. Pretty simple.

Best Answer

I agree 100%. Looking for another tracker as I write this.

It's sad. I'm a lifelong everything-Apple guy myself but Fitbit was that
quirky ecosystem that just seemed to work better than the Apple Watch
world.
I've been with Fitbit for wearable health monitoring since the start date
back in 2007. The sleep function has been more important to me in recent
years as I realize that good sleep is key to underlying general health.
Now a foolish upgrade has broken it and lost - or potentially loses unless
something is done - many long and loyal customers, including me.

I’ve had a fit bit since inception. With the removal of restorative sleep
tracking I’m going to apple. .

I just found the following as I was searching for something to replace our FitBit's now that FitBit/Google has chosen to mess up what has for us been a brand/product we have been loyal to for 12 years and have paid Premium subscription rates for both of us (husband and wife with no family package available)!  To my astonishment the following is the description of the Google Pixel Watch 2LTE.   With no shame, it is being advertised with 6 months of FITBIT PREMIUM upon purchase.  Anyone else think something smells really rotten here?

It has touchscreen display, always-on display capability, on-screen low battery indicator, wireless magnetic charging dock, phone notifications and sound/vibration alerts. It includes inactivity alerts that remind you to move if you are sitting for a long time. It has find my phone and fnd my watch feature, Connected music (can control playback of music stored on your smartphone) and has Standalone music (can control playback of music stored on your smartwatch without needing your smartphone). It can accept phone calls on the watch and dismiss phone calls from the watch. The Google Pixel Watch 2 LTE has WiFi, NFC and Standalone GPS (can connect to GPS without needing your smartphone). The manufacturer offers changeable straps and weather at-wrist feature. Hey Cyngood99,  I have the same funny situation- wearing Apple and Fitbit at the same time. And it’s all because of the Fitbit sleep tracker that I used to love so much. Now they made my choice easier after this ridiculous update. I will say goodbye to Fitbit and will wear only one watch  - Apple. I am also going to Amazon and will leave a negative but honest opinion about Fitbit customer experience

Me too. It really sucks

I agree with you.  It isn’t easy to read.  I first thought I was having a problem with the app.  Updates should be improvements!  I don’t find this change in any way improving my usage.  Do I need to get something other than a Fitbit?

You describe my journey and my feelings about this “update”.

Clearly Google (in Fitbit's clothing) doesn't care about users or the overwhelmingly negative feedback. But they will be happy to sell us a PixelWatch with all the features we desire! Sucks
