Fitbit Update 10/9/2017: This issue has been resolved in update 2.41.1. Please update your app if you continue to experience this issue.
Fitbit Update 8/24/2017: Thanks again for reporting this issue. Our team is still reviewing. I'll be updating this thread once we learn more, your patience is truly appreciated.
Fitbit Update 08/21/2017: Several iOS users have reported that they are experiencing quick battery drain issues since updating their iOS app to the latest version, 2.39.
First off, thanks for taking the time to report this issue. Secondly, I can assure you that our team is currently investigating the root cause of this issue and will be hard at work to get a fix out as quickly as possible to get you all back on track. I will receive an update from them and will make sure to keep you all in the loop.
Thanks for your help with reporting this and for your continued patience. More to come!
Well they didn't fix the logging out issue with the app. What chance they have fixed the battery drain issue they introduced with 2.39?
I'm finding battery drain not too bad since turning off all day sync . But I find I have to charge it as soon as it goes to medium otherwise it takes hours to charge once it turns red. Probably charging once every day and a half. Would be nice to get an alert or email from Fitbit to day what is happening !

Hi Everyone, Our team continues to work on this issue. Thanks to those who reported disabling all-day-sync is working as a workaround. I appreciate your patience and will update this thread as soon as I hear more.

Thanks for that Kate , good to hear that a solution is being worked on.
Best AnswerThe chat agent gave you useless advice as they have now pushed 2 new app updates since the bad one. Some trackers still don't work right.

Best AnswerJust a thought as one of the people experiencing this.
I checked the site today to see what the recharge time should be for my Fitbit One. It states about an hour.
Well mine is running down to zero in about 3 days with All day sync on, I’ve turned that off today, so hopefully it might restore some of the life.
But what I did notice is that the Fitbit is showing the charge state as full within about 10-15 minutes of putting it on charge.
I wonder if something has altered in the way it is showing the state of charge? So we think it is fully charged when in fact it isn’t so we take it off charge and start using it again too soon.
So after turning off all day sync I have left mine on charge for 90 minutes and I will report back again to see if the number of days it lasts is much better or about the same.
Thanks
My HR fitbit is getting stucked, not holding chare, I can't turn it on, I already reset it 3 times, appear half logo of uodating version, sometimes is showing a bar, besides that I can't use my watch, please advise or contact me. Thanks

@Debbieho do you have a Flex, One, or Zip? If not you may want to check out your tracker product board for tips, it sounds like the tracker is updating your firmware but getting stuck.

Best AnswerI turned off “All Day Sync “ and my battery stayed charged for more than a week. Also, make sure you have installed the most recent update.

Best AnswerWas this resolved? I seem to be having same issue. Doesn’t seem to stay charged as long as it used to. All day sync is off HR is in auto. All but one alarm and notifications are turned off. Charge 2 battery seems to last about 3 days maybe?
