Ring goal doesn't progress on Fitbit app

Have there been issues with the app recently? My step goal ring never progresses or closes. My steps will count but then my goal ring stays at zero throughout the day. Not a major issue but frustrating all the same.

@Oakly1860   Do you use an Android or iPhone?  I use an iPhone and had that issue with my AZM goal.  I manually synced my Fitbit, deleted, then reinstalled the app.

I've been using this for a while with an iPhone 16 pro, and I'll say I somewhat have this issue, but it all boils down to connectivity. I don't really know if it's the phone, the app, or both, but connectivity with the iPhone 16 pro is absolute trash. I leave the app open in the background always, and even when it doesn't disconnect from Bluetooth (which it still does quite frequently) it loses it's connection to the app. Sometimes when I open the app and even force sync, nothing updates until I force close the app, reopen it, sync again, then it seems to work. Nevertheless, my main frustration is constantly disconnecting in one way or another. Every single night, I make sure it's connected via Bluetooth, make sure the app is open, and inevitably it will disconnect during the night. Makes using it for notifications on the iPhone pretty much useless. This is the third Fitbit I've had and is by far the worst. I'm trying it now on the Google pixel phone I have as well and even that app has issues. Wish I would have just moved over to Apple watch at this point, but I've always loved the Fitbit's long battery life and small profile. But at this point, forking out another $400 would be worth the lack in frustration.
