Same data for consecutive days

On my Versa 2 the app has recently started shown the same data for consecutive days. Shows 7034 steps today, 7034 steps yesterday &  7035 steps Monday. The previous days are correct. If I close & restart app it sorts out, but after an hour or so problem back again.

On line chat support say restart app (which I’d told home I already had), resrtatt phone, turn off Bluetooth & repair, delete app & reinstall then setup again. Done all that but doesn’t fix.

Anyone else having the problem? Any suggestions?

Not sure where to reply to you to let you know that mine has corrected itself and is now showing correct data back to May 15. Info before then is incorrect - 164 steps everyday (which is ridiculous, I'm very active). Not sure what caused it to begin recording correctly again, I haven't done anything in the last week or so to try to fix the issue, just been waiting for you all to do that for me!  We'll see if it lasts!

I wish I knew the answer. It still happens to me. I have to turn my phone out watch off to reset it.
Such a pain … Fitbit have yet to respond to me about this issue.

It must be a flaw in a software update, and not readily noticeable unless you happen to check past dates.

I am having the same issue. I have tried the fixes mentioned and nothing is working. If I can’t get it fixed then this may need the push I need to switch to Apple.

Mine is stuck on doing 5000 steps per hour, every hour and has been for 2 days. I'm not up to 90000 steps and I haven't even had it on my wrist! I've contacted support and they were useless. I'm taking it back and getting a refund.

Hi everybody ! Thank you for your messages and updates.

As mentioned before, this is being investigated by our team.
In order to help with the investigation, we'll need some info from you .

What mobile device are you using and what is the operating system version on it? (eg, iPhone 12 iOS 17.1, etc)

Have sent you information requested above and still no change or fix to this issue.

I have cancelled my Fitbit premium subscription due to this issue and total lack of updates.

Mine has corrected itself now. But I have still got the weird glitch of many steps over the last 3 days. I'm also wondering, usually you would get a badge for doing that many steps - no badge in sight! 😂 So I'm wondering if it was some kind of glitch in the system. I'll see how I get on and if it does it again.

Fitbit is losing credibility with this.
The issues with the last version were bad enough. But even annual stats are removed now too.. it’s a really poor service..

I am not a fan of Apple fitness trackers despite being a iphone user, nor garmin.. but previous Fitbit’s offered so much more than they do now.

Shouldn’t have to keep doing that to keep it working though.
It’s their problem not the user problem.

It took a little getting used to, but I'm warming to my new Apple Watch. It's not as good as Fitbit USED to be, but it's better than Fitbit is now.

I have been having this issue since January with no resolution.
I am using an iPad Air 3 with IOS version 17.5.1.

I have also tried on an iPhone 12 Mini also on IOS version 17.5.1.

I am hopeful to get a resolution soon. It is kind of ridiculous to call it a “tracker” when it isn’t tracking anything accurately.
