Same data for consecutive days

On my Versa 2 the app has recently started shown the same data for consecutive days. Shows 7034 steps today, 7034 steps yesterday &  7035 steps Monday. The previous days are correct. If I close & restart app it sorts out, but after an hour or so problem back again.

On line chat support say restart app (which I’d told home I already had), resrtatt phone, turn off Bluetooth & repair, delete app & reinstall then setup again. Done all that but doesn’t fix.

Anyone else having the problem? Any suggestions?

Good news! This issue should be solved by now. Please make sure that you all have the latest Fitbit App installed. 
If you are still seeing the issue afterwards, try tuning your phone off and on again.

The iPhone update, at least, isn’t new—the most recent was from 3 weeks ago, and it didn’t help. When will the most recent update be available? I’m hoping for the best! Thank you!

Sadly mine is still not working. Have updated iPad and Google phone, turned
them off and on, and still nothing. Only my phone syncs, iPad does nothing.
Data gone the next day. Considering an oura ring instead.
What is the most up to date version at the moment, and is there continuing
work to resolve the matter?

Just followed all advice and still I have no data stored since 27 August 2024!!!

The latest update of the app was 3 weeks ago, so not sure why it would be fixed. See app below.

If a new version of the Fitbit App is available then it has not been released to the world at large.  There is no new version available to download on iPhone Apps, therefore no difference to the problems we are all having.

The version I have is 4.30.  I presume nobody has a newer one?

@JuanFitbit  It is NOT FIXED. We are on 4.30 as we have been for almost 30 days - and that did NOT CHANGE a thing. At this point most of us have not been able to see our historical data for 102 DAYS and that is still the case. What has changed? I have lost count the number of times I have turned off the phone as a solution (closing in on 50 times) - please give us one that works or tell us what is the best solution.

I’m starting to feel like a fool. Agree, nothing the Fitbit Community has been told to do, seems to work. Seem like delay tactics to me. Who knows what they are doing! If mine still doesn’t work on Jan 1st, I’m going to purchase another product!

I just ordered a tracke4 from a rival. I’ve had a Fitbit for over 10 years. Shame.

Hello,

Unfortunately, I deleted the app and reinstalled. It showed my steps on Thursday and Friday morning everything disappeared.

This did not fix the issue.

Same. Purchased a tracker from a rival almost 2 mos ago due to almost 2 mos frustration of daily data syncing on the Fitbit app but not staying in the app since late August. Had my fingers crossed that this latest update would help but still no change. It's hard to believe that now 4 mos in (and maybe much longer) for a lot of us, this issue has not been resolved. When things are updated, I wish we were told what the issue is we're experiencing and or the progress on it getting resolved. 

Long time Fitbit customer since 2015 with a One, the only fitness tracker I ever owned up to this point and had no issues until the forced migration to Google and the removal of the web dashboard. Beyond frustrated but glad I decided to purchase something else to track my steps, activities, and more and keep me motivated.

4.32 not fixed. Bought a Spade cuz. Like having my dats and I like having an app that works. Be interesting to run them side by side

17 days into the new year and having upgraded to 4.34.1 (restarting my iPhone) my data is still not showing on the app. 
can we hope for more progress this year, or will we all need to use a different product!!

My app will update daily, but it still erases all prior history. I have
loved Fitbit for years. I am holding hope that this will be fixed. I'll
give them til spring time fix this disaster. If not, I'll be switching to a
different platform.
