Setting Up a Charge 2 HR

I'm trying to setup my husband Fitbit Charge 2 HR and everything goes well until it starts searching for it. It doesn't seem to be able to pick up on his iPhone6S. Do I need to charge the Fitbit first? Help please.

Thank you,

Vickie S.

Hello @AC_1, thanks for joining us!, welcome to the Community. Smiley Happy

Indeed, Fitbit trackers need to be charged when setting up. It would be a great idea having it plugged in and charging while trying to set it up.

Additionally, I would like to give you some tips that would also be helpful in case the mobile device is still not finding the Charge 2:

  • Restart the tracker
  • Restart your phone
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere.

Then, try to set up the tracker:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue

Give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Happy
