Setup on iPad?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just got my Fitbit Blaze. No problem setting up the Fitbit app on Win 10 desktop computer or iPhone. But I can't seem to get the app setup on my iPad. The ipad note says "Lookin' Good!" and directs me to the Fitbit setup routine on my desktop computer. On my desktop computer the message is that I already have a Blaze setup. Nthing on how to set up my iPad.

What am I missing? I've verified my email and gone to every tab and button I can see.

If your Blaze is all set up with your account using your computer, on your iPad all you should need to do is download the app and log in. Be sure to log in with the same email address you used when you set up your Blaze. All your information should be there and there will be no need to set up your Blaze again.

Yes. That may help. I have an iPad 2nd generation circa 2011 and I don't see that listed as acceptable devices.

Does that mean that my 5 year old ipad is incompatible??

Hi, @lbeck02, you will nor be able to sync your Fitbit with your iPad2, but if you sync with another device you will be able to view all your information, stats, activities etc, on your iPad.

@lbeck02 what @Julia_G is saying is that any device that is able to sync your fitbit is enough, then you may use the web browser to view your fitbit account and its data.

I'm giving to add one more thought, if your phone is to closed to the pc it may keep. He pc from being able to sync

Hi, @Rich_Laue, no, that is NOT what I am saying. I am sayng that you must use a device other than your iPad2 to sync your Fitbit device, but you can then use the Fitbit APP on the iPad2 to view your details. I used my Fitbit this way for a couple of years and found it very convenient.

Cool, my mistake I keep feeding comments that the app doesn't load onto the iPad 2? That's where I was combining from.

I still find the web gives more detail even though Flash is not supportrd.

I no longer use the iPad2, so can't confirm the current situation. Older versions of the app certainly download on the iPad2. The web does give more detail, but the apps are great for a quick snapshot.
