When I open my Fitbit app on my phone, it takes a long time to sync and often doesn't sync at all. I have tried removing the app twice. The first time when I tried to log on after putting it back on, it keeped spinning and wouldn't open. I removed it and put it on again. It finally let me log on but still has trouble syncing.

It's great to see you around @palew

Hmm this sounds pretty odd, let me help you. As a first step I recommend restarting your tracker 2 or 3 consecutive times. You can also try logging out of the app, reboot your mobile and log back in.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks! I started the tracker a few times in a row and it started working. I appreciate your help.

You suggestion worked a few times but not any more. I only logged out once but it took over an hour with many tries to log back in. It would time out before letting me on. It finally worked. I don't want to chance that again. Yesterday I could get it to sync with several restarts in a row but today that won't even work. I've turned my phone off before, after and during resets with no difference. Any more ideas?

Hey there @palew

Thanks for replying back, it's a shame to hear that you're still experiencing this inconvenience. Please try the Syncing Troubleshoot for iOS devices and let me know how it goes.

Same problem here. And reserting it has never helped.

If Fitbit doesn’t fix this (well, I don’t think they really care anyway), I’ll get rid of it. It’s a waste of money at this moment, and the interoperability at IOS sucks as well.

i should never have fallen for the identity of it, but I did.

Anyway, let’s try and solve this piece of crap, and let’s do it in a better way than at some stupid forum. Because now I’ll probably be waiting a few days, for some lousy advice that is posted here, but again doesn’t work. And respond to that, again waiting for  another couple of days....
