Step Streak Banner Disappeared

Hello fitbit friends, 

I reached 200 day step streak yesterday, and I woke up this morning and the banner is gone. Help! I was really motivated seeing that banner every day. I don't know how to get it back. Can any of you help me?

This is the banner that says "Way to go!" You're on a 200 day step streak. Any ideas?

Thanks for the details shared on your post. I understand that this can be frustrating. 

It's possible that the step streak disappeared if by any reason your Fitbit device was removed and reconnected back to your account. Sometimes it is able to appear automatically again, but you may notice that it will start over.

I had this problem on Friday! I had a 217 day streak going I think I’m at 220 as of hitting my steps today and I was trying to get to 365! It’s really frustrating that it’s gone. It’s not even showing a new streak. Super aggravating!

I had a 439 day step streak, then It disappeared for a few days, when it returned it said I was only at day 4!  I hit that 12,000 step goal every day, as my device shows I did, but this **ahem** thing restarted on me.  I reached out through chat, they needed to find out how to fix it and email me.

the steps they emailed me to do did not work, and now it says day 5.   I’m really on a 445 day streak and I’m pretty mad that I don’t see that reflected in my step streak banner.

there has to be a way for Fitbit techs to fix my day streak total.

I was going to give up on Fitbit when active minutes were replaced with active zone minutes, but the step streak motivated me so much and I refused to miss a day and start over, I purchased a new Fitbit device before my old one could die on me.

if Fitbit can’t fix my step streak total then I’m returning this device and going with a brand that gives active minutes and won’t screw up my streak!  I worked hard for this streak! One year and three months of 12000 per day, I deserve to see the correct number!

This just happened to me as well. I had well over a year--I believe that I was approaching 400 days--and the banner disappeared. When the app updated, the banner reappeared but, now, it reads as 4 days. I'm so disappointed. Between that and my purple cityscape background also vanishing, and having no one be able to answer as to why, my feeling are cooling on Fitbit. It may seem silly to some but, I was so motivated to move more because of those two features.

unbelievable step streak was reseted again to 5 days and not showing for a full week!!!

what is going on , when will this be fixed ?
