Step count and battery level stuck on Fitbit App

Hi, yesterday my fitbit app on the iphone just seized.  It's stuck on 4150 steps and 12% battery, even though the phone has been recharged etc.  I've tried turning the phone off and on several times, I've deleted the app and reinstalled it, even turned the VPN off and back on again - nothing.  Any advice?

Hi there, @Dasher13.

Thanks for the troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far. While this is odd, I'd like to try setting up your Fitbit devices one more time to see if your data gets updated afterward. To do this, please follow these steps:

  1. Forget your Fitbit device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Open the Fitbit app, tap Devices at the upper left corner.
  4. Tap Add More Devices, select your Fitbit device and if asked, tap Replace Device.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions and check if all your details are correct.

This also happened to me after having to do the update required in the app.  Steps freeze often.  I have tried all the steps you have taken as well as what the Fitbit support team has suggested but it isn’t totally corrected.  I didn’t have any issues until after the app update.
