Steps disappeared from dashboard

I used to see my steps and miles when I synced to my iPhone 5. Now, I only see the miles. How do o get the steps to reappear?

I have this problem also. Activities and sleep have disappeared from my dashboard and are NOT available to add back in. Suspect upgrade to app has screwed up.

Welcome to the Forums @fjh! If you're not able to bring those tiles by following the tips that @SunsetRunner has provided, I recommend trying to setup your tracker as new device. Those are the only reasons why tiles can disappear from the Dashboard.
