Steps not counting

I went to school and outside I checked how many steps I did and it came up as 0 and I have done way more than that I think it's because I reset my phone but I'm not sure. What Should I Do.

A warm welcome to our new friend @Daisy124! Hope you're doing great! Man WinkMm this is weird...I'd like to know if you have internet connection in your mobile device? If you have, please know that your phone stores data for the last seven days (including today) so when you open the Fitbit app your phone's data should automatically syncs with the app.
